SouthEast LeatherFest is an educational, fundraising, and social convention that supports the lifestyles and the health of consenting adults. Iconic Leather activist, Momma Vi Johnson will be giving a Juneteenth keynote address. SELF embraces all kink, play, ways of being and relationship style, along with providing education on kink and relationships, and celebrating with parties and social events.

2022 DomCon Opens to Kinky Public

Los Angeles, CA — DomCon Los Angeles, the international fair of fetish and kink opens to the adult public Thursday evening, May 19, with a red-carpet opening ceremony and will continue through the weekend with three days of BDSM education, socials, kinky shopping, and thrilling parties. The exposition of dynamic debauchery will be at the Hilton LAX, 5711 West Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045.

The kinky curious and well experienced will find an abundance of subjects like disability and kink, sex toys in scenes, chastity play, wearable rope bondage, mental health in BDSM, and maintaining kinky relationships, on the schedule for the convention’s classes and workshops.

The Dungeon Store Returns to Frolicon to Serve the Naughty and Nerdy

Atlanta, Georgia – The Dungeon Store is coming to Frolicon 2022, the convention celebrating over 15 years of the nerdy and naughty, May 12-16, in Atlanta, Georgia. The eclectic event offers over 70 classes and workshops, along with three days of play in a fully equipped dungeon playroom.

DomCon Launches App in Time for New Orleans Convention

New Orleans, LA — DomCon, the premiere lifestyle and professional domination convention, has released a mobile application for those attending the expo in New Orleans this month. The DomCon app is completely free and can be downloaded at https://bit.ly/DomConApp.

DomCon New Orleans is the wicked sister of the east to DomCon Los Angeles. The Big Easy event celebrates diversity in kink and promotes awareness through demonstrations, seminars, and panel discussions. The gatherings also act as a showcase for creators and performers from around the world to debut their latest talents to the kinky and curious public at large. “Since 2011, our community has called Sanctuary Studios LAX ‘home,’ ” said Mistress Cyan, Owner of Sanctuary LAX. “We have hosted fundraisers, weddings, memorials, support groups, educational classes, workshops, and social events. Every year our Thanksgiving and Christmas fundraisers have collected truckloads of food and toys for those less fortunate. Many call Sanctuary ‘the community center.’ ”

The 7,000+ square foot, fully equipped BDSM facility has served the professional and lifestyle BDSM community for over 20 years. During the week, Sanctuary LAX would serve as a sessions location for Dommes and subs, then after hours and on weekends would host countless numbers of events, many operating at the same time.

Joanna Angel, Ernest Greene, and Ken Marcus are just a few in the adult industry who have shot at Sanctuary LAX. Fat Mike of NOFX was among the most recent to shoot at the location for his show “Unsafe Words,” just before Covid-19 regulations would require Sanctuary LAX to close. During the summer, Mistress Cyan was allowed to briefly reopen for sessions, which ended after coronavirus cases surged last fall. The location has been legally open to private shoots with safety precautions, but those have been few.

“We thought we could ‘weather the storm’ with savings and the SBA loan,” said Cyan. “But those resources are being depleted. Every penny donated will go strictly towards the operating expenses such as rent, insurance, utilities, and loan payments. We want to be there for you again when it’s safe to re-open.
