Brittany Wilson of The Dungeon Store Interviewed on ToyChats

Baltimore, MD — Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director of The Dungeon Store was interviewed recently by Ralph Greco of ToyChats. They discussed the history of the store, the nature of selling at shows, trends in the pleasure products business and the latest violet wand toy from The Dungeon Store, Badger Blades.

“Badger Blades are our take on a big conductive talon,” Wilson explained. “They’re designed to look like big, badass blades protruding from your knuckles. So, you’d line the “blade” part between your fingers, wrapping your fingers around the base for control. They’re very eye-catching.”

The Dungeon Store is a woman-owned, intergenerational family business, priding themselves on over two decades of curating collections of fine BDSM and fetish toys with an eye towards community care and development. They carry a wide variety of products, with a special emphasis on violet wands and other electro-fetish items. Many of the products offered by The Dungeon Store are hand crafted by fetish professionals across the United States.

“Every region is completely different and looks for different things,” noted Wilson when asked about selling at events across the U.S., such as TES Fest in New Jersey or Surrender in California. “This is especially influenced if someone in an area is an expert on something. So, like, in New England and the Bay Area, you have a lot of rope experts. So, those regions are exposed to Shibari more often and have a higher-than-average interest in rope.”

ToyChats Media Inc is an open, honest, and inclusive platform for sex toy reviews and conversation. ToyChats offers a safe, user-powered space where people can share real experiences, explore sexual wellness, and connect with a like-minded community.

The Dungeon Store is currently offering a clearance sale on Tens Unit accessories, and shoppers can find their latest additions at https://TheDungeonStore.com. The Dungeon Store Debuts Badger Blades for Electro Play

Baltimore, MD — The Dungeon Store recently debuted Badger Blades, a new conductive pleasure product for electro play and sensual play.

Badger Blades are made to be gripped in the hand, while using a conductive body cable on a violet wand (not included). Three conductive polymer blades extend from the handle, giving the user the appearance of having long claws. While intimidating and impressive looking, the blades are not sharp. Sensations with a violet wand include concentration at the three ends, or spreading the arcs lengthwise across the extending material.

Badger Blades are also great for sensual play, giving an edgy feel without the danger of something sharp. In the bedroom or dungeon, Badger Blades pair well with a blindfold and rope bondage or a cuff set. They also come in a cloth pouch for easy carrying.

“Badger Blades are made here in house as one of many violet wand toys in our collection,” explained Anne Bryne, Founder and Co-owner of The Dungeon Store. “Customers also love them for wax play. After wax has been applied and cooled, Badger Blades can be used to safely remove the wax as part of the play. That can be done without the electrical play of a violet wand. But using a violet wand with the Badger Blades and our Blacklight Wax, you’ll get quite a light show at play parties.”

The Dungeon Store is a woman-owned, intergenerational family business, priding themselves on over two decades of curating collections of fine BDSM and fetish toys with an eye towards community care and development.

“Of course Badger Blades could be incorporated into some superhero cosplay,” added Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store. “As they’re not sharp and not metal, they’re a little friendlier for security at fandom shows.”

Retailers can contact Brittany Wilson at sales@thedungeonstore.com for order information and details. Consumers can find Badger Blades at the booth of The Dungeon Store during parties and conventions for the sexually adventurous, or online, along with their curated collection of floggers, paddles, bondage rope and violet wand accessories at https://thedungeonstore.com/collections/e-stim/products/badger-blades-violet-wand.

Procrastinator’s Kinkmas Sale from The Dungeon Store Starts December 6

World Wide Web — The annual Procrastinator’s Kinkmas Sale is back at The Dungeon Store, December 6 through 16, 2024.

The Dungeon Store is a curated collection of BDSM products for new and advanced players. The business is woman owned and operated, well known for their violet wand accessories, along with hand crafted floggers, paddles, bondage gear and books.

“This is our fourth year offering this sale as an alternative to the Black Friday marketing hype,” explained Anne Bryne, Founder and Co-owner of The Dungeon Store. “Rather than putting our work family and community through the stress of working Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, we’re offering 10 days to shop our collection for great deals.”

During the Procrastinator’s Kinkmas sale, The Dungeon Store makes available on their website many small-run, kinky toys that were only available when vending at conventions and fetish events during 2024. New products will be added to the “One of a Kind Emporium” section daily.

“Of course, we still have your favorites, like the Flameless Wax Play Kits, Lightning Laces, and Bedroom Bondage Kits,” noted Brittany Wilson, Brand Manager for The Dungeon Store. “But this is a time where we offer limited editions of unique BDSM gear, along with deals on kinky toys we stock specifically for events.”

In addition, more occult books, oracle cards and tarot decks will be for sale on the site. Plus there are great deals on blacklight-reactive lingerie.

“When you order between December 6th and the 16th, we’ll have your order out the door and on the way to you by the next day,” added Bryne. “For exclusive offers, special promo codes, and event schedules, sign up for our newsletter while at our online store.”

The Dungeon Store Debuts the Truffalo

World Wide Web — The Dungeon Store recently debuted their latest violet wand accessory, the Truffalo. The soft, bendable electrode for the violet wand comes in a variety of colors, works with most solid state violet wands, and can be used with a conductive cable.

“There’s all sorts of kinky mischief you can get into with a Truffalo,” Anne Bryne, the Founder and Co-Owner of The Dungeon Store noted with glee. “Unplugged, the soft, fuzzy nature of the Truffalo is awesome for sensory play and is great for tickling. The bendable ends means it can be looped to go around parts of the body and twisted into curious shapes. When using a violet wand conductive cable, you can even use one Truffalo in each hand to guide over your lover’s body. These make for an excellent addition to a violet wand collection.”

The Truffalo is made in the United States. The violet wand toys are created in house by The Dungeon Store and each one is spark gapped for safety. The Dungeon Store also sells solid state violet wand kits, which come with a three year warranty.

Anne Bryne of The Dungeon Store Talks E-Stim with SHE Magazine

Baltimore, Maryland — Anne Bryne, the Founder and Co-Owner of The Dungeon Store recently discussed erotic EMS/TENS units and violet wands with Sexual Health Magazine as part of their feature titled “Tingles and Thrills” about e-stim in the Summer Issue of the publication.

Bryne was one of several sexual health experts quoted in the article and she has over 20 years of experience with violet wands, EMS/TENS units, and other e-stim pleasure products available to the sexually adventurous.

Violet wands are units designed to radiate a tingling electrical stimulation across the skin. They often consist of a basic unit, and there are a wide variety of accessories that can be plugged into one, most importantly the conductive cable, which allows the user, or their partner to be electrified, making almost any metal that comes into contact a potential toy. Sensations with a violet wand range from a gentle tingle to intense heat, but these are not intended to penetrate deep below the skin.

“Violet wands tend to be the most visually exciting device, or as Bryne puts it, ‘the showman of the e-stim world,” the article explains.

“Moving the electrode close to the skin creates the ‘spark’ that will jump from the electrode to the skin, creating anything from a quick jab to a bubbly tingling sensation,” Bryne explained in the article.

EMS/TENS units operate differently, penetrating deep under the skin to invoke a muscle response. They’re also used differently for safety reasons.

“Essentially, you are using the unit to contract and relax various muscles,” Bryne noted about TENS units. “This means you’re controlling, stimulating, and arousing these areas with the turn of a knob.”

The in depth article covers a variety of e-stim pleasure products and their benefits in the boudoir. The article even spotlighted The Dungeon Store’s Violet Wand Basic Kit, which comes with a three year warranty and an instructional DVD.

The e-stim article is available online for free at https://www.sexualhealthmagazine.com/digital/2024-07.

Brittany Wilson of The Dungeon Store Talks Kink with The Weekly Hot Spot Podcast

World Wide Web – Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store was recently on The Weekly Hot Spot Podcast to discuss kinky products, books, and Wilson dedicated a half hour to talk about violet wands and electro play.

Hosted by Mistress Olivia and Ms Erika, The Weekly Hot Spot is a BDSM advice podcast. Their show offers candid conversations about sex, fetish, BDSM, kink, phone sex and even vanilla erotic pleasure.

The Dungeon Store is a woman owned, second generation business, with a curated collection of pleasure products. Many of the floggers, paddles and electric gear carried by The Dungeon Store are handcrafted by professionals in the BDSM community.

“We’re a good ol’ fashioned, small, family business!” began Wilson. “We are very mindful and very thoughtful about what products make sense. What standard of quality we want to see before we carry something and have an aggressive mind towards high-quality goods… We span a range of prices and product types.”

That standard earned The Dungeon Store three nominations for the 2024 AVN Awards.

Wilson discussed products like the Flameless Wax Play Kits and Deer Tanned Leather Floggers.

“You take a cow hide, and you tan it as if it were a deer hide, at which point you have elicited the most soft, supple, texture you can get out of a cow hide,” Explained Wilson. “It’s elevating a cow hide to the best possible end life. I think it’s a great flogger for beginners and intermediates. It’s well weighted, so the handle and falls are about the same weight. It maneuvers very well. The falls stay together when throwing… It is a reliable classic. And it comes in every color. We’re big fans of colored leather here. The days of all black everything have come to a close.”

The conversation turned to The Dungeon Store’s collection of books, which include BDSM techniques, role play, books on the occult and spirituality, but also books on mindset in kink.

“I want people to go and get this book,” instructed Olivia. “‘This Curious Human Phenomenon’ by Peter Masters, it is one of my all time favorite books ever, and it changed how I interact with BDSM because it moved it away from the implements… it went into the psychology and it is absolutely brilliant.”

“It’s not about how to hit, how to tie up. It’s not a how-to book,” added Wilson. “It is a discussion of the psychological phenomena that are in play, whenever we engage in various power exchange dynamics.”

In the second episode, Wilson goes into greater detail about electrical play and the violet wand accessories available from The Dungeon Store.

“All beginners should get a good, solid state violet wand,” said Wilson. “On the site, it would be our Explorer Kit… A violet wand in its most general usage is a sensation toy. It is great for the ticklers, the gentle touch, the caressers, it’s really that genre of implement for the average person.”

“Electro is less of its own fetish and more about bringing electricity into all of your pre-existing fetishes. If extreme pain is your fetish, great. That’s doable. If needles and medical is your fetish, excellent. They conduct electricity. If rope is your fetish, I’ve got fantastic news. Guess what, there’s conductive rope. If flogging is your fetish, you’re in luck. There are conductive floggers. So once you get into electro, it’s just a layer you get to put on top of all of your pre-existing fetishes.”

Wilson also gave advice on aftercare from play with a violet wand, saying “What it’s doing is pulling ozone out of your skin. You’re going to want to treat it like a sunburn. Aftercare should be really heavy on aloe-based lotions. Just use that on everywhere you’ve played. Just get it in your skin, and that’s the best way.”

The Dungeon Store Debuts Shelob Violet Wand Flogger

Baltimore, MD — The Dungeon Store has unveiled their latest violet wand accessory, the Shelob, a conductive flogger that can be plugged into a violet wand, or used along with a conductive cable.

The Dungeon Store is a curated collection of BDSM toys and pleasure products, mostly made by kinky experts in the United States.

The Shelob is one of many violet wand accessories crafted in house at The Dungeon Store. The flogger has 8 tails made of conductive rubber. Each tail is 10 inches long, and it has a full length of 16 inches. Like many conductive floggers, it can be draped across the body, delivering tingles across a wide area. When plugged into a violet wand, the Shelob can deliver a lot of sting without much effort. For a lighter e-stim sensation, it is recommended to use the Shelob while wearing a conductive cable. The Shelob also makes for a good stand alone flogger for a lightweight stingy sensation.

“The Shelob is a violet wand flogger that really handles like a typical flogger,” noted Anne Bryne, Founder and Co-Owner of The Dungeon Store. “You can get serious with the stingy sensation of the tails themselves, work in the intensity of the wand, and then alternate that with the lighter, crawly tingles of sensation play.”

Like other violet wand accessories made in house, the Shelob is also spark gapped for safety. This means if there’s a surge from an outlet, that shock ends before it reaches the users. The Dungeon Store is one of the few that offers spark gaps with violet wand products.

The Dungeon Store also carries violet wands, which are medical grade and available with a three year warranty.

“And we’re in the middle of our Summer of Pride sale,” added Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store. “So shoppers can get a discount on the Shelob when using promo code “PRIDE24″ at checkout. Sale ends August 31, 2024.”

The Shelob is available to consumers at
