DomCon NOLA Names Mistresses of Ceremonies and Guests of Honor for 2023

New Orleans, LA — DomCon New Orleans is proud to announce their Mistresses of Ceremonies and guests of honor for the 2023 festival of fetish. Coming together are Dominatrixes, fetish supermodels, sex educators, and BDSM fanatics from around the globe, October 26-29, 2023 at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, 739 Canal Street, in the historic French Quarter.

Mia Darque Gives Kinky Advice and Talks About DomCon on The Weekly Hot Spot Podcast

Olivia and Erika asked Darque about hesitations and fears men might have of bad experiences in kink.

“There’s no such thing as good times all the time,” noted Darque. “You can’t have one hundred percent control over it. It might go well, it might go very well. But it also might flop. When those moments come along, you have to step back for a second, rearrange yourself, see where you might have been a part of that equation, or realize other parts that didn’t work out the way they were supposed to, and eliminate that. Go back out there, and do it again. If you fall off the bike, you don’t just become scared of tires.”

“What could I expect at this type of event?” Ms Erika asked regarding DomCon NOLA.

I like to think of it as a fetishy, friendly, family reunion in New Orleans,” explained Darque. “The host hotel is great to us… The classes that we have, the teachers that we get to come in… we’ve had some of everybody, not just from the United States, but from Canada, Mistress Jaguar of Mexico, Goddess Cleo from the UK, Mistress Gabrielle from Australia. We literally have folks that come in from everywhere on the planet… it gets a little more fun every time. This year is our 20th year… There’s no telling how it’s going to be, especially with the second line parade, because we go all out.”

Sanctuary Studios Celebrates Official Reopening with Party on May 13, 2023

Second Line Parade and Guests of Honor for DomCon NOLA 2022 Announced

The Big Easy, LA — DomCon New Orleans, the premiere professional and lifestyle Domination convention has confirmed the Official DomCon Second Line Parade is on for this year and announced guests of honor for the event. The exposition will be October 27-30, 2022 at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, 739 Canal Street, in the historic French Quarter.

DomCon gathers BDSM professionals and those in the kinky lifestyle from new to experienced. The convention begins with business to business seminars. Over the weekend, the show opens to adventurous and curious adults. To bring together these fetish enthusiasts, DomCon uses classes, workshops, demonstrations, socials and parties, along with vendors showing the latest in bondage gear and pleasure products. 

The second line parade marches on Friday, October 28, and has been an ongoing DomCon tradition honoring departed peers the BDSM community has lost. While a celebration of the scene, the parade also raises awareness regarding professional Dominants and sex workers. Participants meet in front of the hotel entrance at 7:15 PM before the parade begins.
