The Dungeon Store Announces Magick Line on 69 Whiskey Podcast

World Wide Web — Brittany Wilson, Sales and Marketing Director for The Dungeon Store returned to the 69 Whiskey podcast to announce the new lineup of spiritual and occult related products coming to the store’s booth at TES Fest in New Jersey this weekend.

The Dungeon Store is a curated collection of products for kink enthusiasts. Most of the gear Wilson sells is created and sourced by professionals in the BDSM community.

69 Whiskey hosts “Dollar Store Dom,” Eric Weinstein and Motorboatin’ Matt, cover topics ranging from drinking recipes, comedy, kinky and adult entertainment. The show was nominated for an AVN Award and listeners enjoy Eric and Matt’s raw, uncensored and unapologetic adult format.

Wilson was pleasantly surprised to find herself declared the favorite guest of the show, then quickly brought listeners up to speed about the latest news from The Dungeon Store.

“We just remodeled our entire display at The Baltimore Playhouse, it looks fire AF!” said Wilson with pride. “Next week, I will see Eric at TES Fest in New Jersey… We have started carrying modern occultism and witchcraft stuff… and we’re looking to grow that line over the course of the next year.”

She went on to discuss the additions of books on magic, hoodoo, voodoo, and oracle cards including the Sacred Feminine, the Naughty Oracle, and the African Gods deck.

“We also have Backwoods Witchcraft, which is Appalachian magic,” Wilson explained. “If you’ve ever been to Appalachia, the people out there are magic. They’re different. It’s different. We actually carry the OG Appalachian magic book… We also have very fun tarot cards and oracle cards. We have what’s called Mystic Martian Tarot. We have Cunt Tarot. We have Macabre Tarot, which is shaped like a little coffin.”

The conversation moved to medical play toys, and selling BDSM gear at events.

“I think fear is good. I think that you should approach edge play and serious BDSM kinks with a little bit of fear,” Wilson pointed out. “If people come in too confident, but sound like they don’t know what they’re talking about, I’ll encourage them to go to class. If you come in fearful, but ‘these are the classes I’ve been to, these are the scenes that I’ve watched…’ I think then you’re taking it seriously… We need to make sure ethically that we are not putting dangerous tools in dangerous hands.”

TES Fest is June 30 until July 4, 2023. For details on the event, go to https://TESFest.org.

Mistress Mia Darque Talks about DomCon and Sanctuary Studios on 69 Whiskey Podcast

Hollywood, CA — Mistress Mia Darque recently appeared on 69 Whiskey podcast to talk about professional Domination, DomCon, and the dungeon Sanctuary Studios.

The 69 Whiskey podcast is hosted by “Dollar Store Dom,” Eric Weinstein and Motorboatin’ Matt. The daring duo covers topics ranging from drinking recipes, to kink and adult entertainment. The pair began their show on 107.7 The Bronc and brought it onto internet airwaves for listeners to enjoy their raw, uncensored and unapologetic adult format.

“What does a professional Domme entail?” Inquired Motorboatin’ Matt, regarding lifestyle versus professional BDSM. “Does that just mean that there’s money involved, or is there something more to that?”

“It doesn’t mean that one is better than the other,” Darque responded. “It just means that one has decided to take the time out of their day, to spend their own personal money, to set up skills that are specifically meant for other people. It’s not just for what I want to do…When you deal with someone who’s lifestyle, they give you what they feel that you need, as the Dominant… As a professional, you get to ask and coordinate what you want.”

Mistress Mia Darque has been active in the BDSM society for over 20 years, getting kinky at some of the hottest international fetish clubs, along with doing sessions at her favorite dungeons like Sanctuary Studios LAX. Darque is also a BDSM educator and serves on the board of DomCon where she is active working with their events in Los Angeles and New Orleans.

“I felt that I was not getting the kind of coverage that I wanted,” Darque explained about her first time at the convention. “I had been told by almost every other professional I knew that if you don’t go to DomCon, you really haven’t made it in your career… I had a fuckin’ ball and I was hooked… This was the first time I had the experience of everything in one spot.”

Mistress Mia Darque can be found at https://JustSayRed.com. She will be at DomCon New Orleans, October 26-29 and frequently Dommes at Sanctuary Studios in Los Angeles.

Mistress Cyan Talks about DomCon on Sex, Sin and Sensibility Podcast

World Wide Web — Mistress Cyan was recently a special guest on the Sex, Sin and Sensibility Podcast to discuss the upcoming expo, DomCon Los Angeles, along with the Sanctuary Studios play space and her work as a BDSM educator.

The Sex, Sin, and Sensibility podcast is a labor of love hosted by Ms Drea Deville, and Lady D. The Lady Libertines discuss all smutty possibilities, ranging from BDSM and sex work, to puppies and butt stuff. The hostesses divulge the history of our favorite kinks and fetishes, educate the curious, and ask the guests to spill their hottest scenes.

Mistress Cyan was introduced to the Lifestyle in 1989, and through years of commitment to helping others, has since become a well respected leader in the Los Angeles BDSM and leather communities. Cyan pushed hard for transgender acceptance in the Los Angeles fetish scene. She’s also known for her work organizing and hosting fundraisers for local charities. She regularly teaches classes, mentors others, and speaks at academic institutions such as Stanford University, CSUN, UCLA and Occidental College on the subject of consensual BDSM.

Cyan is not afraid to set new standards, break new ground or accept responsibility. DomCon Los Angeles is part of her vision to change the perception of BDSM professionals in the leather community. The convention begins with business to business seminars addressing legal issues, taxes, health, and techniques for professionals and sex workers, then expands to the kinky public with social events, performances, classes and an exhibition of the latest kinky products.

“It was a pleasure to talk with Ms. Drea Deville and Lady D,” said Mistress Cyan. “This is the 20th anniversary of DomCon Los Angeles. We have so much for guests this year. On the BDSM safety side, we have a new class on CPR, which includes certification. Max Candy is debuting his documentary, “tOuch Kink” at our show, and we have more vendors lined up for this expo than ever before. You don’t want to miss this!”

While this is Mistress Cyan’s first guest appearance, Sex, Sin and Sensibility podcast has had many DomCon alumni on as guests, such as Jade Desires, Alice in Bondageland, Submiss Ann, Mistress Damiana Chi, Ph.D. and fetish photographer Sweet Girl Julia.

Anne Bryne of The Dungeon Store Whips Up Article on Retailing Violet Wands for Xbiz

Los Angeles, CA — Anne Bryne, Founder and Co-Owner of The Dungeon Store, recently wrote an article for Xbiz.com on violet wands and things to consider when selling them in retail stores.

“With pretty tubes filled with neon colors, arcing electricity with an ear-tingling crackle and zap, violet wands look futuristic and exciting,” explains Bryne in the article. “A violet wand is in essence a sexy radio transmitter, pumping out electrons. When the wand touches skin, the electricity moves across the skin as opposed to through the body.”

While violet wands have been around for over 100 years, they only started making their way into the pleasure product market in the mid 90s, through experimentation in the BDSM scene. In the 2000s, a major transition came about as solid state violet wands began to replace older, mechanical models. These have made the curious toys more affordable to the kinky community and practical as a pleasure product.

Anne Bryne has over 20 years of experience with violet wands. She sells them, teaches classes on how to use them, and even co-produced educational videos on violet wand techniques. Her company, The Dungeon Store, makes many violet wand accessories in house.

“There’s a lot of discussion about them in the BDSM scene, and my hope is this article makes retailers more likely to embrace violet wands as a pleasure product,” notes Bryne. “Violet wands are a very stimulating instrument in the bedroom and it’s a delight to help everyone understand more about these daring devices.”

The full article can be found at https://www.xbiz.com/features/271640/how-to-introduce-retail-customers-to-violet-wands.

This weekend, The Dungeon Store will be in Connecticut, showing at the sold out exhibition, Tethered Together. For distribution, retail opportunities, and affiliate programs regarding The Dungeon Store, email sales@thedungeonstore.com.

We also have some lovely riding crops in stock, and it’s a pleasure to offer the unicorn crop as one of the unique prizes.”

Kinky Trivia hosts monthly trivia games with focused sexual education, BDSM language, consent, education, and some geeky fun to educate as well as bring a sense of community.
